PLU is being vivisected/undergoing routine maintenance in the Trading Post. Lucius walks in, stops just long enough to say "Oh," then nopes right back out.
Giuseppe: Did you see machine gun spider? Zorrah: Yes... Giuseppe: Did they say anything about me?
PLU: "Do you believe that I would turn into a penis?"
Miles Caplan: "I call this one the Room of a Thousand Bad Choices."

Hours later, realizing that the parts list for the computer that I had gotten was the parts list that I'd been searching everywhere for. Win!!

Tender Moments from the Mod Hall:
Czeslaw enters the Facility and comes around the corner, face to face with a spider turret which begins to slowly walk towards him. CZESLAW: That's... not even a little bit OK.
A minute later, after deliberation about how to handle the situation... CZESLAW: It doesn't have to be like this. We can be frien- SPIDER TURRET: 3 Piercing Electric.
MAKA: Zorrah, did it run out of ammo? ZORRAH: (Climbs up on table to inspect spider turret) Yeah, I think- SPIDER TURRET: Line of Voice 3 Piercing Electric. (Zorrah slumps off the table.)
Spider Turret spazzes out and falls off its placement into a pile of popper traps. EZTIC: (With a wail) Spider, noooooooo!

Makin' people cry. Nuff said... actually not "nuff" at all. So I guess I will make a list like all the rest of the squares. Some rebel I am -Matt Hurd attaching an ORC trophy to his chest, putting a fake helmet with the words "pwer armr" on his head and wandering towards the trading post saying "Orc orc orc" -all my plots going off just as I envisioned them. (See above comment about crying people.) -Jurgen smashing his Brother-In-Law's head in with a broken shield. because YOLO. (Maybe I didn't get his motivation...because YOLO.) -Lex stealing patched power armor. (I wonder if he licked it? does it count as his otherwise? How do dusters law?) -Doing the call to blow up the trade summit, and realizing that Roosevelt and Konstantine were still able to stumble out holding their organs in. -the like 10 minutes I thought the players didn't have enough surgens and would have to choose between saving incredibly important NPCs or their fellow townsfolk. -Reading this thread and hearing the reactions to the spiders. Spiders are our friends... but clearly not yours.

Those of you who think Zorrah is scary and weren't at the Tekalli death goddess ritual don't know the half of it.
Giuseppe, on being asked what he thought of that ritual: "There are factions other than mine for a reason, and I'm glad of it."
In the final fight: making an end run down to where the sniper was to try to get to Boris. Ducking between cars, and then realizing that the body in front of me was Patches. Crouched next to him, getting ready to drag him out, when the NPC points a very large gun at me and pulls the trigger.... and it goes "click."
The general panic of "crap, do we have enough surgeons?!" after the explosion.
Tick-leech removal. Pink goop FTW!
Implant lessons with Eztic as he put a targeting eye into Zorrah.
Zorrah, to thing with big weapon going around mowing people down in the final fight: "Line of voice diagnose." Thing: "0 blood." continues to march around Everyone else: "WTF?!"

Literally every single interaction with Dahlia/Giuseppe. Those characters... I can't even. Wonderful.
Having the privilege of seeing Small Fry evolve as a character, and Katrina's incredible portrayal of her. I'm floored. Every moment with her is absolutely incredible. <3 <3 <3
Jurgen's face when Dahlia begged him not to leave her when she saw who the Inquisition chose to fight him, and the ensuing gutwrenching fight to the death. So many tears. Holy shit.
Family dinner. It really felt like... family. Hard to have that kind of experience at a LARP and I felt honored.
Going into the woods with the People of the Cliff and the amazing RP that ensued afterwards with all the PC's involved.
The giant crow. I believe we have a solution to our bug problem, everyone.
Seeing all your beautiful faces around the fire at the second town meeting, watching everyone cooperate, and feeling completely and totally happy for a single moment. (just before...)
Discovering how Cassius died. And all those repressed memories flooding back. And the aftermath.

MachineGun Spiders especially the childlike glee of people about to be slaughtered by them Aldebrandi Mourning Feast/ lets get shitfaced & stuffed and laugh our guts out Jurgen as ORC Surprise gifts from Rowan Evaluating potential dalliances for Franchesca Many moments of Giggling Girl talk with Small Fry and Dahlia (It feels like I have sisters) My first game with armor and a real weapon! I jumped into every fight I could (even in a dress) and I felt like a true Warrior especially in the Dalibor/ trade post explosion battle. That and the circling our dead King were epic.

Having Real Talk with Guiseppe Sunday morning after realizing Dahlia was in serious bad shape.

Getting yelled at by dusters for kneeling to the Aldebrandi (my) king.
Chasing after Gribbit and literally searching the entire town besides the murder rock and murder couch and surrounding trails beyond the junkyard. Trying to find him for his punishment for licking the crown. Feeling responsible because Gribbit is a Dirty Seven.
Trying to decide what to do about my newly discovered heritage. Talking with Dusters, NPC and PC alike, and gauging their reactions.
Stopping Dahlia from murder-shanking Lex for saying hi to me.
Cooking seems to help Dahlia unwind and then also be like "Beteedubs, I might be pregnant". Whaaaat.
Being super pissed that the Red Hammers turned on Patches and wanting some serious revenge. Getting the entire town to go help and getting the Hammers to finally give up. Patches was still in surgery but due to a miscommunication that Patches had died, I demanded all Red Hammers killed. Turns out Dahlia misheard and told me this as I was walking toward her to stab her after being told she was lying about Patches being dead. She apologized quickly and didn't get shanked. Ended up letting the Hammers go and immediately regretting it as I learned that Rowan had died. Feeling completely responsible for Rowan's death and deciding for real to take off her patch and become Aldebrandi. Or did she?

I had a few great moments this event:
the circle fight against Johnny 2 Butts. I was shocked when everyone started cheering for me! Completely unexpected.
the "Claw-five" that sidewinder gave me after the fight with a "THAT WAS... CLAWESOME!" attached to it

The entire trade summit ordeal was absolutely amazing! Fantastic RP and interactions by everyone involved, both on staff and player side alike.

"Get 'em, Kyle! Come on, stab 'em! Go Kyle! Uh... Kyle? Kyle, where are you going? Uh..." -"I didn't say I wanted him dead. I want an ear." Augh! -Playing with Simon's little robot toy...
Finally: -Getting a slave girl from Alex, then sending her to stay a while with Alex and sending her off to train with Alex in order to help take down Alex.

Tekalli Fire Circle of Death was the most metal plot I've participated in at a game. What was conceived as something fairly straightforward quickly got SUPER REAL. Kudos to all participating players. Favorite moment from that scene: Eztic makes a dramatic speech during loud, angry, swelling music. Just as he begins to speak, the music drops out for a moment, just long enough for him to say grimly, "In'kol'kan... is coming." CUE MASSIVE BASS DROP. MOVIE TRAILER MOMENTS IN MY LARP, GODDAMN.

Okay, so yah I know only my second game, but seriously the plot staff rolled out, and all the interactions with everyone this weekend were brilliant! SO MANY FEELS!

Helping 2-Steps kill the Caterpillar which looked strikingly like the one we fought my first day in Karst which rolled our group. "I found something in the woods with our names on it!"
